The bedroom is a place for comfort and relaxation. Temperature in the bedroom should be about two degrees lower than in the rest of your home - the optimum temperature for a sound sleep is 18°C.

Suitable climatic conditions, i.e. right temperature and sufficiently high air humidity affect the well-being and proper rest during the night.

An important aspect is the location of radiators, preferably under the window (horizontal design radiator) or between glazings (vertical design radiator). It is worth planning the layout of heating for the bedroom already at the design stage, so that the radiator is not placed too close to the bedhead or does not obstruct the opening of wardrobes or doors.

Underfloor heating is also a practical solution for the bedroom due to the distribution of temperature in the room which is beneficial for health. Heating fitted under the floor reduces the circulation of dust. This is particularly important in the bedroom, where the proper air quality guarantees a comfortable sleep.

An additional benefit of this solution lies in the aesthetics. The system is completely hidden under the floor, so you are free to arrange all walls in the room. There is no need to worry about placing the bed in a proper position towards the radiators anymore. The luxury offered by warm floor in the morning is also essential.

What you should bear in mind when deciding to install floor heating in the bedroom is the need to cover the floor with natural materials, such as stone, ceramic tiles or a special type of wood, which conduct heat efficiently. If you plan underfloor heating in your bedroom, remember to choose a legged bed.
