Vertical design radiators - Narbonne V

Convectors Narbonne V are composed of several interconnected profiled steel heating elements of a rectangular cross section. Each convector has got four connecting openings, each with internal thread G ½”, enabling side connection, both from the leftand the right-hand side. Narbonne convectors are equipped with two side covers, but no top masking grille.

The heating profiles are mounted vertically, so that to retain the 2 mm-wide distancing between each two, necessary to compensate for the heat expansion of the elements, and enabling the perfect varnish cover of the entire convector’s surface. Most models are equipped with convective elements, increasing the heating efficiency of the convectors.

Hydraulic characteristics

The value of pressure drop in the radiator depends on the mass flow of water flowing through.

For the single panel radiators, the value of pressure drop in the radiator can be determined with the following formula::

Δp = 0,0160 * q2
Kv = 2,5 m³/h

For the multiple panel radiators, the value of pressure drop in the radiator can be determined with the following formula::

Δp= 0,0105 * q2
Kv = 3,1 m³/h

where:

Δp- the drop of water flowing through the radiator in pascals [Pa]
q - the mass flow of water flowing through the radiator in kilograms per hour [kg/h]
